MATCH PREVIEW     

The first two weeks of the Indian Premier League 2025 have proved its reputation as the biggest T20 carnival. We have seen thrilling games, and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be up against the Gujarat Titans in the 14th game. Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Chennai Super Kings in the last game and have moved to the top of the points table. They play at home for the first time this season and shall start the game with higher odds. The Gujarat Titans defeated the Mumbai Indians in the last game. They have lost the last three out of four games against RCB and shall start the game under pressure. Both teams have strong batting lineups, and it will be interesting to see which side does better in this big contest.  

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Preview      

After conquering their opponents in away games, Rajat Patidar's team will take the field for the first time at home this season. The side won two games in a row and registered a historic win against the Chennai Super Kings in the last game. The 50-run win, their first in Chennai since 2008, has increased their odds on cricket betting sites. Patidar would like his team to play positively in this game and win to consolidate their position on the points table.  

Philip Salt and Virat Kohli have settled well as the new opening pair for the team. They will look forward to offering a good start. Rajat Patidar is batting well in the middle order, and he will look to build partnerships with Devdutt Padikkal and Liam Livingstone. The side has depth in the batting lineup and shall expect good performances from Jitesh Sharma, Krunal Pandya, Tim David, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in this game.  

The bowling attack has looked in good form. Josh Hazlewood has strengthened the attack and will look to strike early in this game with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Yash Dayal has done well as the first change, and he will look to keep the scoring under check with Suyash Sharma. Gujarat Titans Preview     

Shubman Gill and his men will be confident heading into this game. They overcame the big challenge against the Mumbai Indians in the last game, winning by 36 runs. The batting lineup is in good form, but Gill would expect a better show from his bowlers as RCB has a strong batting lineup. Odds on cricket betting apps aren't in their favor, and Gill would like to defy them with a good performance.  

Sai Sudharsan is batting well and will look to deliver a confident start in this game with skipper Shubman Gill. Jos Buttler will look to play an explosive knock in the middle order and build partnerships with Shahrukh Khan and Sherfane Rutherford. Rahul Tewatia is a good finisher and will look to do the big-hitting in the lower middle order with Rashid Khan.

Kagiso Rabada and Mohammad Siraj form a strong pace attack, and the team needs an early breakthrough from the pair. Rashid Khan is the key bowler in this attack and shall look to keep the scoring in check in the middle overs with Ishant Sharma. Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore and Prasidh Krishna will look to do well in the supporting role as the RCB batters will go after them.

We have seen big run chases at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. It is not the easiest of tracks to bat first and defend a total. Both teams will have this on their minds at the toss. The side winning the toss won't hesitate to bowl first.     
 

PITCH AND WEATHER CONDITIONS      

We expect clear skies over Bengaluru and a warm evening. The track is excellent for batting, where the ball comes to the bat nicely. Batsmen can play their strokes easily on this surface. Bowlers have a small margin for error on this track. The side batting first will aim at a total of 200 runs.    

OUR PREDICTION      

The Gujarat Titans have struggled against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the last two seasons. It will be on the back of their minds. The side will need a strong show from its bowling attack to win this game. RCB plays at home, and the team has a good batting lineup. We expect a close game, but RCB, with their depth in batting, will have a slight edge in this contest.
