India hasn't made the most confident start to the Asia Cup 2023. The star-studded side shared points with Pakistan after the second innings of their game was washed away by rain. The top order failed but the side put up a decent score in the last game. With Pakistan having already made it to the next round from their group, Indians must win this game. Nepal started with a big loss against Pakistan, facing unmatched  odds in this game. They have to play out of their skins to challenge the Indians, and a win here will be a big coup and a huge confidence booster for the team.

It wasn't all that convincing for Rohit Sharma's side in the last game against Pakistan. The top order went out cheaply, though the middle order fought bravely. Sharma would feel relieved as Pakistan could have chased down that total with their strength with the bat. Sharma would like to iron out the problems as they head into this game and book a berth in the Super Fours.  

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill failed at the top, and the side will expect a better start from this pair. Kohli would like to get over the upset in the last game and add runs with Shreyas Iyer and the last game's hero, Ishan Kishan. The side has depth in the batting, and they will expect runs from Hardik Pandya, Shardul Thakur, and Ravindra Jadeja.  

The side has a strong bowling attack, and they will expect tight spells with the new ball from Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj. They are up against one of the strongest teams in the world in this game. Paudel would want his side to approach this game with a positive mind and put up a good show.   

Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh will have an important role at the top, and they must deliver a solid start in this game. The middle order will face the Indian spinners and need partnerships between Paudel, Aarif Sheikh, and Sompal Kami. The side has depth in the lower middle order and shall expect a good show from Gulsan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Kushal Malla.
