As a punter, this is when you’d surely have that question - who will win the Cricket Bangladesh Premier League 2024-25? It is a tough call, as this BPL tournament has seen good competition over the last few seasons. This season won’t feature the most successful team, the Comilla Victorians, and the competition has opened up. All the squads have undergone several changes and have roped in the best domestic players and big overseas names. Let us take you through a brief preview of the seven teams participating in this edition of the Cricket Bangladesh Premier League to give you a fair idea of their strengths -
Bangladesh Premier League Teams
1 Fortune Barisal
They are the defending champions and shall look to add another title to their trophy cabinet this season. The team struggled in the early stage last season, but they were brilliant during the playoffs, winning three games in a row and defeating the Comilla Victorians in the final. With the Victorians out of the tournament, Tamim Iqbal and his team will be one of the favorites. However, the team failed to deliver the goods in the playoffs, losing both games by big margins. Nurul Hasan Sohan would like to put last season's upset behind him. They have won the title once in 2017 and shall look to repeat that. They have experienced players like Soumya Sarkar, Curtis Campher, Khushdil Shah, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Alex Hales and shall look to get the best performances out of these players.

They have a good mix of young and experienced players, and they expect good performances from Lewis Gregory, Mohammad Hasnain, Oshane Thomas, Mohammad Naeem, and Nasum Ahmed. They haven't had the best of luck in the auction and don't have the biggest names in the team.
